I really don't agree that it's "not appropriate" though. Everything is appropriate to laugh at, IMO. There isn't a topic in this world I haven't laughed at. AIDS, cancer, death and even underage hoes. Life just isn't that serious of a thing to me. My roommates lost their mother when they were young and both have been heard telling "your mother" jokes. Sure there is awful stuff happening everywhere, but if you are not contributing to it then you're not doing anything wrong by laughing at it. Again, just my opinion. If you are a positive force in to the world in other ways (ie generally a "good" person") then you are doing your part and letting off some steam with "inappropriate" jokes is perfectly fine. In fact, it's probably good for you psychologically!
Then again, I've also masturbated three times to this thread.

Completely agree. Its all fair game, people have to lighten up and, while Itse's point of view is perfectly valid, its just not universal.
Either way, I think the facts around this are dubious at best so might as well have some fun.
