He came in with lofty promises and whether he really meant it or just sold a bill of goods remains to be seen, but it is looking more and more like politics as usual.
With today's headlines about the auto industry I think he will be eating his words about what it would mean for if GM went Bankrupt. The spin will include the words "structured" and "controlled" but it will in essense be GM declaring bankruptcy and restructuring their debts and contracts. Something I belive he said would never happen. He can't give them more money without losing face and they can't survive without it
