Disclaimer - I have a BB and hate iStuff because... because I'm one of those people. I've said I've got to get my MP3 player or something like that to be asked "you mean your iPod" or so many things along those lines. To which I've said "no, my Creative xx, or sandisk, or xxx" and I get asked why I don't just get an iPod. I'm actually getting annoyed just thinking about this.

I think it might all stem from quicktime being on my computer a decade ago and it felt like a virus, like real audio, or real player... LOL
You sound just like me before about 6 months ago. I used to swear by Creative mp3 players and windows pc's. Then I bought an Ipod Classic and a Macbook. Slowly but surely, Apple will get you.

Seriously though, overall I'm pretty happy with Mac stuff since I've made the switch. Just because something is popular doesnt mean it isnt good. It does bother me a little bit that because I own a mac i'm now kind of closed off from other brands of mp3 players and whatnot, because there's lots of good products out there.

I don't have an iphone but would consider getting one over a blackberry. The web browsing and additional apps, and the media features...its a pretty amazing device.
