I'm not sure if I've mentioned it in here yet (don't feel like scanning 21 pages and the search came back clean), but one of my most frequently used apps is Grocery Gadget Shopping List ($2.99). It has a huge storage of grocery items so compiling a list is simple, but the value comes in how you can sort your list. You can arrange it by section, so it groups all your produce, meats, frozen foods etc. into categories. My written lists are always very scattered so I always end up running around. This way I only ever need to hit each section once. I also like how when you pick up and check it off, it moves the item to the bottom so it gets out of the way. With traditional lists I always manage to cross something off in a messy fashion and I don't notice the little item underneath it, or i accidentally scratch off two items with one line. Strange I know, but traditional grocery lists have always been something that I managed to screw up.
