I realize this is just your personal opinion, but no, I don't see it this way at all. I'm 41. The iPhone is a great device with some amazing features. It's not a "toy" or a "teen" device.
Personally I don't like the keyboards on the BB's from what I've seen. My fingers are simply too big to deal with those little keys. Not to mention I like everything pretty much on the touch screen.
As for the personal vs business argument, I use mine for business and personal. One of the sales guys where I work has an iPhone and uses it for business as well. I don't see the issue with using an iPhone for business. It's a phone, with messaging and the wifi is great.
