I think we're under estimating the gorilla a bit. Here's what I learned about Gorillas

They are capable of a grip force of 400 to 600 pounds of pressure, sometimes over 1000. So don't let a gorilla grab you.
When a gorilla is enraged, it will swing it's arms, capable of generating a blow over 600 pounds of pressure.
Apparently, gorilla's are able to generate a bite of over 1300 pounds of pressure. The polar bear can manage over 900 pounds.

Also, gorillas are highly intelligent and somewhat organized as well. They will size up their opponent and determine the best course of action to attack.

The gorilla is also able to summon allies such as wild dogs and eagles to battle.

Gorillas evolved night vision. Unfortunately, it works horribly during the day.

Gorillas are capable of moving at the speed of sound. Often moving so quickly that the opponent wouldn't have a chance to make a move. The Gorilla will startle the opponent from behind and slap them with a force of over 10 king solomans.
