That radio interference is possibly Shine FM 88.9 MHz. Channel 6 on tv goes from 82 MHz to 88 MHz, with the audio carrier at 87.75MHz. It is possible for low frequncy fm to interfere with channel 6, and vice versa. This used to be very useful where I live, as CBC used to be channel 6 over the air. This made it possible to pick up Hockey Night In Canada on an fm radio.
