It's all relative. You can't just say "RE5 is bad value because it's ten hours long". But then, those ten hours are some of the most intense and downright fun action gaming available on any console. Not to mention the incentive to play through on multiple difficulties, upgrading weapons to get infinite ammo, the Mercenaries mode, the downloadable multiplayer expansion pack coming in a few weeks.

You set your game value yourself. You might pay $60 for a five hour game, but if that's one of the best games you've ever played, isn't it worth it more than a game packed with 30 + hours of gameplay that is mediocre?
I somewhat agree, but for me the biggest thing is that I don't know if I see the advantage of the online portion of RE.

That was what made 1 and 2 special is how fun it was to sit alone in the dark, crank up the sound and just giver. And it would take weeks to make progress.

I can see the online advantages to a game like COD but not RE.
