I think Seattle has too many other needs to pick a QB so high... I do think they'd take Josh Freeman with pick #36 if he's available.
Yeah, SEA's done well with filling some of the holes previously thought to be filled by the draft (WR, DL, OL) through trades and free agenecy (like the Petersen deal...Petersen was the odd man out given his $ and given Tutupuu and Hill's $).
I don't think Wallace is a given as the next starter...Holmgren liked him, but being in Hasselbeck's shadow (who's hardly a leader or mentor type guy) Wallace is pretty much figuring things out by himself. I figure he may have this year at most, to impress Mora.

He's got the legs, and an ok arm, but not the decision making skills (or, at best, similar to Hasselebeck questionable decision making skills (for a 10 year QB, no less).

Hasslebeck has this year and at most one more year in SEA unless he really lights it up. Again though, even if SEA takes the chance to draft a QB, Hasslebeck is not the mentor you want to teach the new guy the ropes IMO. Plus, given SEA's record of drafting QB's (Dan McGwire, Rick Mirer, Kelly Stoufer etc), whoever is to announce the selection after its been decided on, should change his mind at the microphone and go with the other guy.

So in short, as the last few weeks have gone on, it would not surprise me now, as much as it would've March 1.
