I don't think most people have a problem with a christian holding the post.
The problem is having the Government's Science & Technology Minister being unable to answer a question about evolution due to his personal 'beliefs.'
[Especially since evolution is a key and very proven scientific theory.] Especially since evolution, over a period of over 150 years of scientific rigor, debate and discussion, has never been proven incorrect.
