Ya, the other skip often grabs anything flying down, but not always. The key is really to make sure the rocks don't hit the hack...that does some serious damage. Rocks can launch off them, rip hacks right out of the ice, or just bounce around and damage the ice. It's ok if they hit the boards though. That doesn't do much damage. One actually got stuck up on top of the foam boards during the finals last night.
