I've never been to the Brier before but my old man had a couple extra tickets for the final so we went. Good times.
Martin was en fuego. I mean, the man refused to miss tonight. Stoughton couldn't have beaten him on his beatingest day if he had an electrified beating machine.
Not sure if it got picked up on TSN or not, but on Alberta's last stone on the last end someone yelled out from the 300's "BOOOOOOOORRINNNNNGGGG". Martin and Morris kind of laughed uncomfortably. Then Stoughton did his spin move out of the hack and everyone in the stands erupted. Standing ovation. Shake hands. Done.
Also, probably the first Tim Horton's Brier ever where you couldn't buy a Tim Horton's at the venue.
