I guess I remembered wrong.
Doesn't matter, controls are rubbish and always have been. Speaking of Gears of War 2, me and my brother just spent the last 7 hours beating the campaign.
That is how it should have been, it isn't run and gun, you just move slowly when your shooting.
No one should "suck it up" for controls. Developers should just realize not to make them crap controls. Controls is something that can't be screwed up, because obviously your always using them. Obviously if someone likes the controls good for them.
