This is the first time I've opened this thread in over a month...
Without wanting to get into too many personal details, I've been laid off from my job. Money was tight, the hammer had to fall on someone...
When they chose me, one of the reasons they gave was the insane amount of posting I was doing on this board during the day. They had a bloody printout of my stats from my user profile here, for crying out loud.
Anyway, there were other reasons... like I was the highest paid employee and the office manager has always had a bit of bone to pick with IT people, etc etc.
Long story short, I walked away from CP for a bit, and then slowly creeped back into the main forum for game threads, etc. It's only been recently that I've ventured into other sections and today is the first time I've even felt like opening this thread.
I know, I know. I signed up. I put my name down. I should have stuck it through... Let's just say, I kinda lost my taste for it all.
PS: Btw, I checked it out, and it just so happens that you get access to all kinds of information about posting habits here without even having a member's account yourself. Just something to keep in mind for anyone worried about how much they post here during the day. All it takes is knowing your board ID, and they've got all the case they need. They don't even need to worry about internal ip/server logs.
