You can easily be a nice guy and not finish last. The key is being aloof. Do exactly as women do and make it bloody difficult for them to get into your world, and even when they do elevate to gf status, make subtle signs and gestures that dating you is a priviledge as opposed to a right. I think it comes back to a self-respect thing as opposed to a 'good guy/bad guy' thing. My rule of thumb is never do anything for a woman that you wouldn't do for a best friend (outside of the bedroom of course
). If you stay true to that rule, a girl will never ever think of you as a doormat or an uninteresting 'nice guy.' Simple as that and you don't have to resort to staging run-ins with the law, getting a tatoo, picking fights in bars, or buying a Harley to prove your badboy street cred.
