The ugly act of the father (Police say he is also suspected of abusing the girl's handicapped 14-year-old sister) does not revoke the right to the life of the children.
Setting such a precedent would erode decades of effort dedicated toward saving innocent life.

God forbid a precedent protecting 9 year old rape victims was set. Precedents come with preconditions. Even if you are pro-life, you can be so while using logic on a case by case basis.

This.
The girl in question is 9 years old. If there is a chance that she dies while giving birth to these twins, are we not taking life away from a child?
