There's a reason the rink announcer in Edmonton has had his job for more than 30 years: he's good at it. Do I want the guy announcing goals to sound excited? Yep. Do I want him to sound like he's doing a commercial for a clearance sale at the Brick? Nope. That's what Beasley sounds like to me. Some like it, some don't. No big deal.
