It was brutal. I drive to work at 5pm, and it is relatively nice out, only -6, not windy, no snow. Then at about 9:30 I get a delivery and have to drive to Panorama (from where I work in Beddington, it is about 7km), and holy smokes, can't even see 40 feet in front of me the wind/snow is so bad. On Beddington Trail where the speed limit is 80, me and another Cobalt are doing about 85, he was doing about 95 when he passed me, then we get to the off ramp and he immedeatily slows down to about 15-20, and holy crap it was bad. Went from nothing to almost no visibility going down. From there on out I had about 30 feet in front of me visibility. Winds are super strong, tons of strong snow, all my windows are instantly covered and I can't see anything. Drove like that for about 25 minutes (usually would take me about 7 minutes), to the house, and came back.
Easily the worst conditions I have ever driven in, ever.
After the storm like 2-4 months ago that started all of this (icy backroads that never recovered from the ice), I think it will finally melt, then this happens. It wasn't cold yesterday during the storm, just bloody windy and tons of snow.
