I saw it last night and was very impressed (A friend-of-a-friend was in line at 3 in the afternoon). I'd read the novel more than a decade ago and had forgotten a lot of the details, and there were things in the movie that I couldn't quite make sense of, but it was great nonetheless. Rorschach, in particular, was a fantastically-done character. For almost three hours long, it really flew by. I've got a lot of respect for Zach Snyder as a director.
