My supervisor asked me to follow up with this young man about the resume he submitted. I get him on the phone and I asked about his most recent bit employment. He answered the question, bringing up the second last bit of employment he had done. I asked why he didn't mention the most recent employment he had and he said he had forgotten about that job.
Now, I suppose it is possible that he was just nervous and had completely forgotten about the job he had apparently worked at for a year and a half and left only a few weeks earlier, but I can't help but think perhaps he had been caught padding his resume.
Anyone ever get caught padding their resume?
