As for the Flames game parking, it does make it more economical to park on the grounds. That will increase the demand for parking there, and will probably allow an increase to the rates as the lots start to burst at seams.

That isn't the case at McKnight/Westwinds. I would guess less than 1% of people there are from out of town since the station isn't easy to get to from anywhere besides that general area. Unless people from Airdrie pull off at Country Hills then try to use 36th down to 64th, but that is probably one of the worst roads in Calgary.
