As for ideas, it sounds like you've done Central America to death. But if you're still down with the Americas, Peru might be a nice idea. I've always wanted to climb Machu Picchu.

Also, my girlfriend did a two week tour of the Greek islands last summer with her sister and to this day she won't shut up about it. Sounds like a great idea, I guess they even saw a black sand beach there. Tons of culture and old beach towns, as well as ancient Greek artifacts too.
