I don't get why saying that the chick who kicked the shoes at a cop is now seen as supporting the cop or justifying his actions.
It is very much possible to look at both individuals as idiots for what they did.

We are talking about a grown man with a gun at his side imbued with the authority to use it - the resultant responsibility that goes along with that power needs to be borne by him with restraint and decorum - or else he cannot be a cop. He should be held to higher standards than the Joe on the street (who would doubtless be charged with assault for such an action) not excused, however snotty the defenseless 15 year old girl may have acted. That he's a cop makes this act that much more reprehensible in my eyes.
