I dont take the train anymore and honestly I didnt read the signage.
It does seem peculiar that there are ticket purchase machines at a station like Banff Trail or North-hill Mall, if you can get fined for going in that area without a ticket.
Or are these stations in the magical "no signage" realm. What about the Dome station, its pretty clear that is a station, with the platform in the middle, and yet there are ticket purchase machines there. Why have them there if you can be ticketed for no ticket on those platforms.
If I ever got a ticket on a platform I would be might pissed. One could argue entrapment at those stations considering you need a ticket to be there, yet they sell tickets where you can be ticketed for not having a ticket?
