I found that the best solution for my shaving needs is the combination of electric beard trimmer and (non powered) fusion razor.

I have a pretty thick beard which grows relatively quickly and am lazy about shaving (and I think I look good with stubble). This is where the beard-trimmer comes in handy, as I can let my beard grow out a little, then trim it down before shaving OR go with the no-guard trim and leave slightly more than a 5 o'clock shadow to hit the town with.

Also, you bought razor blades off e-bay from hong kong? That's like, the cheapest thing I've ever heard of. Are you scottish?
