Does anyone know where you can get these devices in Calgary? It replaces one of the batteries in your remote and converts IR to RF and back to IR for the component hidden somewhere else.

EDIT: Just looked at my box and there is an IR in port on the back. Can i just buy a sensor and plug it in. Is the port active?
