Not sure a "Native only" situation would be beneficial, fotze. Unfortunately, under Native rule, game conservation and management comes into question. For example, anglers must use single prod, single line catching devices, while Natives could fish with nets. In Dennis's case, that lake is abundant as he catches only what he, and his once a month type group, can catch. If net catching were allowed, that lake would most likely become dormant in a matter of a year or two.
Ditto with the big game hunting.
When Dennis got up there, the bear population was significantly less than it is now... why? He targets the larger males, who typically try to kill the younger bears. With the bigger males taken out, the two or three younger cubs have a significantly better chance of survival, ironic as it seems.
I have tried to research Tutizzi Lake, but there is little information on it. What I have found it that it is considered "very active" for fishing at this point. One outfitter essentially runs it. Would a group of say 20 or more running continuously be better in the long run? Could it sustain itself or not? Personally, I doubt it. I am glad this lake is in a quite corner of the world; not only surviving, but prospering, versus being exploited by anyone (not just Indians.)
