in my couple of games i have done pretty well. the part that scares me as a dman is the ability to hit the guy skating in for the cross crease pass type goal. i generally try not to interfere, but sometimes you time the hit a bit early. hopefully that won't be too bad of a penalty call. its just so hard to tie people up as they drive the net. generally, just hitting them to knock them off balance or out of the play is the best solution.
last night i made the comment that we will have to start referring to the style of play as 'the new nhl' like they did in real life after the lockout. there's just so much different that i think we will see a totally different style of play emerge.
