I have to shake my head at all the people doing 'isolation' exercises, instead of heavy, compound lifts.

Is it really that important to have huge biceps, but a weak back, and small shoulders?

Of course, its still not as funny as those people with massively ripped upper bodies, but something slightly worse than chicken legs posing as their lower body.

Is there a reason the squat gets ignored and vilified? The single 'best' exercise known to mankind, and people are scared? Start with light weights, learn proper form, and go heavy. Not only is it beneficial physically....as the hormones releases by doing a heavy set of back squats are notorious for fueling growth on ALL your muscles, but its also beneficial metabolically.
