I also liked the fact that it didn't overuse the 3D animation effects. There's one point in the title sequence where the animation is in your face, but for the most part, it resists the urge to remind you that you're watching a 3D film. It does brilliantly captures the depth of the stop-motion world. I'm looking forward to seeing it in 2D though, to see if it still has the same impact.

This movie was pretty amazing. I enjoyed the 3d effects, they made it that much cooler. The story was great, kinda dark but I liked it.
