I don't remember if the WHL followed the NHL's lead on the last five minutes rule, but if they follow the NHL's exceptions, Stone shouldn't get suspended. The Wheat Kings were throwing cheap shots all night long, and at the end, the guy Stone fought sucker punched him as the buzzer went, so Stone turned around and beat the crap out of him. Based on the radio description, I felt the instigator itself was a bad call. Hopefully the league will see it the same.
