OK dumb question for you guys.... cuz well, Im challenged when it comes to software etc.

My 11 year old daughter LOVES Karaoke.
I downloaded some Karaoke tunes off of Kazza Lite with the intention of creating a CD for her to use on her spanking new system at home.
Lo and behold I cant seem to creat a CD of karaoke tunes, I guess because of the file format which is either .kar or .mpeg I think.

Does anyone here:

1. Admit to liking Karaoke?
2. Know how to record these files to a playable format on CD?
3. What program would you suggest for doing this?
