Brings a new meaning to the term: "Baby Daddy"

Reading the Yahoo article, the kid understands the situation, or at least as much as I would expect a 13 year old could. He's been to the hospital every day, and he knows that it's going to be hard to raise the child on the $10 Pounds his dad gives him for allowance.

The parents will step in, obviously, but the 13 year old, and hopefully the 16 year old, will be able to learn the lesson. If they opted for Abortion or Adoption, they basically wash their hands of the situation. This way, they must deal with the result of their actions, as his dad puts it...

Quote:
Alfie Patten's father Dennis, 45, said his son was fully committed to his new paternal role.
"He could have shrugged his shoulders and sat at home on his Playstation. But he has been at the hospital every day," he said.
And I don't know if it was brought up, but the father was 12 at the time of conception.
