There were too many camera cuts, and quick angle cuts for it to be considered "real". Plus, if I went to a pub with a buddy, and he snaps into a trance, I'm not gonna just sit there with this dumb look on my face. The concern of the friend was the scariest part of the whole production.
Reminds me of the scissor throwing into arm video clip. That one was more real than this one was.
