Better variety. There are many (many, many) more micro brews/craft brews available available at the local stores. And that is just beer. I was almost exclusively a beer drinker when I lived in Ont, so other than occasional bottles of hard liquor, I can't comment on the wine/liquor selection comparison.

I experienced 10+ years with each system, the AB one is far superior.
