I am selling an investment opportunity that is looking at taking advantage of the Las Vegas market, among others. There are condos that this fund has purchased that were $220,000 two years ago, and now can be bought for $60,000. We'll rent them out for 5-7 years and then sell when they have recovered. Their replacement cost, if you were going to rebuild them is $150,000. The investment is RRSP eligible and can take advantage of the tax free savings account.
