Not that I really care, but is it fair to accuse Coldplay of poaching Radiohead's sound.... when they evidence is Coldplay's first album (which was 9 years ago) is comparable to a Radiohead album that came out 16 years ago? I'd say its fair to say that they may have been influenced by Radiohead... but I don't think they are stealing their sound. Coldplay's recent works sounds nothing like anything Radiohead have done.
Personally, I think all the comparisons come from the fact they both have been called 'The Biggest band in the world'.... and they are both british. People natrually feel compelled to compare them.
