Yeah. She's younger than me and lives and breathes for texting but is such a whore for her phone that an unread text can't sit in her inbox for longer than 10 seconds.
I wouldn't even mind if she picked up her phone and just glanced at it. Maybe with a courtesy "hold on a sec". But she'll actually just ignore me for minutes at a time while she responds. Drives me nuts. And right when I'm in the middle of talking too. Argh! Making me angry just thinking about it now.
I answer my phone in most situations too, but that is to talk to a real human and if I'm out with someone I won't just spend 5 minutes shooting the shiznat. If we're watching TV or something I don't care as much but right in the middle of a conversation when there is only 2 of us there is pretty rude.
