I play ball with a couple of guys that work at Safeway. At one game he pulled out a snack (trail mix I think) that had the Kirkland (Costco) brand all over it. I started to give him a hard time about it, when he replied, "I can't afford to shop at Safeway, I work at a grocery store!"
I know grocers had fired people for "betrayal" in the past, but help is so hard to find right now, I don't think they would dare try it now.
