With Aeroplan, I need to spend about $20,000 to get 25,000 aeroplan miles which gives me a flight anywhere in continental USA/Canada. That can be a $1000 value, depending where you are flying.

If you spend $20,000 with the TD card, you get 60,000 TD points. This gives you $300 travel dollars.

I used to have a TD travel card until I did this math. I'd rather have a free trip anywhere in continental USA/Canada than $300 in travel dollars.
