I was raised Catholic and went to Catholic school until 8th grade. I think it was around 4th grade when we decided we could lie about our last confession so the priest wouldn't bust us. We were taught to go to confession every week, even as a kid I didn't understand why we were the only religion requiring a middle man to confess to God, but that's another tangent...so some of us didn't go to confession every week, in fact, sometimes we only went that once a quarter during school. So we worked it like this:
"Bless me Father, for I have sinned. It has been one week since my last confession. These are my sins: I lied, etc, etc."
Two Hail Marys and an Act of Contrition and it was time for recess.
