i got a similar situation last year while travelling in some hardcore 3rd world countries in Africa... i thought it would just go away, but kept getting worse. after a week i couldnt go longer then 10 without feeling the need to really go take a whizz, but everytime i went nothing would come out except blood and some urine. Once i got to London, went to see a doctor, who gave me some anti-biotics and it went away within 3 days. im pretty sure he said it was a urinary tract infection.
