If it makes you feel any better, whatever you find on the internet seems to be worst case scenario, I wouldn't freak out too much with what you find.. When I got back from Mexico a few months ago I brought back with me a fun little bout with Monteczuma's Revenge. According to the internet, I would be anywhere from ridiculously sick for a couple weeks to on my deathbed within a couple days. Neither happened. Just lettin ya know so you dont hyperventilate while you research, I know the feeling.

I hope you don't get what I got. I was in Mexico in 2004, and I'm still getting treatment for a large intestine ailment which I got from something I ate while in Mexico.
