Sounds like you're holding up your end of the aggreement.

I can't even start to imagine wanting something so badly only to be waiting for their response to see if you get it or not. (Waiting for a jersey to be crested just isn't the same is it?)

I'd suggest calling her directly tommorrow morning to check up on things.

I'm going to go on a limb and remind you that although you really like the place, you're still paying 'rent' which helps pay her mortgage payments. I'm a landlord myself, and I try not to make my tenants wait, that is why I try to treat my tenants well. But then again, that is just me; if a landlord isn't able to perform in the beggining of the relationship, what will happen during the lease period when something serious could surface?
