I was rooting for the Cardnals. I shouldn't have been, since they are an NFC West rival, I'm not a Warrener fan and I don't think the Bidwells deserve any success, but I like the way they play, I didn't want to see the Steelers get a 6th, and it is fun to root for the underdog.
I though the reffing was pretty fair. A few calls kind of marginal but all could have gone either was so no issues with that.
Warrener, as an experienced QB, shouldn't have made that throw at the end of the half. He was baited.
I was a bit surprised they waited until the 2nd half to give the ball to Fitzgerald on the medium crossing routes, but I guess when he was being doubled (and tripled) deep, it left a lot of room for Boldin and Breston. Once those 2 started being covered, then Fitzgerald got the ball. So contrary to people who thought it was poor football, I though it was one heck of a chess match out there. The multitude of penalties was the only down side.
