How can you be a zealot when a reasonable person IE moderates speak loudly that suggesting Hurricane Katrina was brought on by god because of America's tolerance on Gay's and Abortion rights.

Theres a clear difference between being outspoken and critical of that kind of nonsense, and those who using absolutism speak out with such outrageous comments in the US media and get away with it.

I do agree, they get soundbites and its hard to hear the other side; often thats left to Atheists like Christopher Hitchens but I'd love to see more vocal moderate Christians leading the charge against the Evangelical zeal that exists today.

Shows exactly what more people should say, not celebrate this hate monger just because he has the words "Reverend" in front of his name. He's was a blight to all moderate Christians in the world.
