TBH there are a few things you can do, but IMO the best thing is to pawn it off like someone mentioned (ala ebay) and buy a NA washer that runs on 60hz 120 ac like everything else this side of the atlantic.

Convert it if you want, but myself would use something that is made for NA 60hz cycle as to protect wiring, insulation, ect. Check the plate on your washer to insure it can be operated on either 110-230V 50/60hz before investing in a transformer.
