Yeah, with a few exception states, its a nice region... its those trouble states that give them a bad rap, since a lot of the incidents that inspire derision tend to come from those troubled southern states. Blaming the south is more apt than blaming the whole country... even if its a stereotype. Its like saying "those lazy Canadians" when Quebec doesn't want to work as Alberta, for example.

The US really is like 50 little countries, as well as some territories, of varying similarity, just like Canada is really 10 little countries, as well as 3 territories, (despite what some ardent nationalists and Trudeau-nauts might say) and you really can't group them all together.
