You can rent purpose built tents for $70 each or something from Bo bebe.
We grabbed $15 igloo tents from ikea and got a slab of foam cut into 2. Total about $70. The kids went to sleep and we went out on the deck to watch the fireworks.
A couple of other things I thought of:
- good rides allow switching off, so both parents can ride without having to wait in line twice. This rocked, though we were lucky on the timing and there were very few lines.
- our kids loved the pixar play parade.
- the story tellers cafe was our fav spot for meals. Though we spent more on food than anything else.
