This should work.
Another option (only when running Internet Explorer)...

Press Alt (on the keyboard, beside the Spacebar). This should highlight "File" in near the top of the screen.

Click on "View". It should be to the right of "File" in the same row.

Hover over "Text Size" in the drop down menu under "View".

Click on "Largest" in the slide out menu to the right of "Test Size".
If the other ideas don't help you could try this:
Alt +
left Shift +
PrintScreen. It should revert the system to a high contrast, large print version of windows for those who prefer easy reading over snazzy gradients. [note: I'm not sure if this works in Vista]
